Breaking and Entering - about the film

BREAKING AND ENTERING is a romantic comedy about a charming burglar who breaks into a supposedly empty home, and is suddenly confronted by a mysterious woman wearing only a towel. Based on an award-winning stage play, the screen version features lightning-fast dialogue and plot twists.

This PG or PG-13 rated feature was shot entirely in Louisville, Kentucky on the Panasonic High Definition Digital 24p fofmat for a theater quality look. This low-budget production employed union and non-union talent and was covered under the SAG Experimental Film Agreement.

ABOUT VIN MORREALE, JR.
Writer/Director of BREAKING & ENTERING

A co-founder of the San Francisco Playwrights’ Center, the Senseless Bickering Comedy Theatre, and member of Louisville’s Cherokee Roundtable. Vin has sold material to TV shows like REMINGTON STEELE and THE SMURFS and has had eleven film scripts placed under option contracts. His comedy material has been broadcast on radio stations nationwide. He has written thirty-six stage plays, including many in print with four national publishers. His work has been given more than 700 productions throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. His book on theater, BURNING UP THE STAGE - Monologues, Short Scenes and Audition Pieces For Actors From Six To Seventy, is sold world-wide through Dramatic Publishing and Amazon.com. His newest play, FORSAKEN, will premiere at Louisville’s Lighthouse Theater this October.

As an actor, he has appeared in hundreds of commercials, videos and
low-budget feature films, including a role as Al Pacino’s stand-in & double in THE INSIDER. He has performed on stage, radio and TV in Boston, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Along with his nationally known BURNING UP THE STAGE acting workshops held each Sunday night, Vin also teaches at Alix Adams Modeling Agency, and has taught both acting and scriptwriting from elementary school through college level.
